xlsx: Project Home – R-Forge

The xlsx package gives programatic control of Excel 2007 files using R. Read a sheet of an xlsx document into a data.frame and write a data.frame to an xlsx file. Set colors, fonts, data formats, borders, add/remove rows, add/remove sheets.
