 source-code-now-on-r-forge I've added the FD package version 1.0-1 today on R-Forge. 0 0 1970-01-01 00:00 No Moderation
gowdis---and-dbfd---now-much-faster Version 1.0-1 brings compiled C code to gowdis(), making it MUCH faster. Because dbFD() relies on gowdis(), it should be faster as well. 0 0 1970-01-01 00:00 No Moderation
maxent---added The maximum entropy (maxent) model of trait-based community assembly proposed by Bill Shipley is now on FD. Thanks to Dr Shipley for contributing his R code. 0 0 1970-01-01 00:00 No Moderation
maxent---now-10x-faster I've tweaked Bill Shipley's FORTRAN routine to speed up maxent() substantially. It's about 10 times faster than the previous version, which used only R code for the while loop, which was the real bottleneck in terms of speed. Comments welcome! 0 0 1970-01-01 00:00 No Moderation
fd-1.0-7-and-maxent.test-- The new version 1.0-7 is now available on R-Forge. Additions are maxent.test() which implements the permutation tests of Shipley (2010; Ecology) for maximum entropy (maxent) models. This makes it easy to now test a model generated by maxent(). Also, maxent() now accepts a matrix/data.frame to run the model on several sites/data sets in one go. The arguments names were also changed to be consistent with Shipley (2010). I hope this does not affect too much previous code written to work with maxent(). 0 0 1970-01-01 00:00 No Moderation
fd-1.0-9-now-on-cran-and-r-forge This new version corrects a bug reported by Sarah Berke that prevented sing.sp from being calculated correctly in dbFD(). 0 0 1970-01-01 00:00 No Moderation
