Congratulations for all the changes you did to xtable, great!
A point that would be nice according to me is to unlink the floating and
latex environment. What I mean is that, as for now, it seems impossible
to have floating=FALSE but latex.environments="center", which is a
pitty! Using Lyx indeed, I prefer to use their table GUI environment,
but cannot have it centered. Do you think it would make sense to allow
for center but not floating?
Also, I noticed finally a small typo in the vignette, where the
latex.environments argument is written without the s?
