1. Modelling Peaks Over Threshold - The project consists in developing functions for peaks over threshold modeling. Most of results come from the extreme value theory (EVT). The EVT is currently extensively used, mostly in environmental sciences and finance.

3. rgl: 3D visualization support - rgl development has moved to Github.
rgl is a 3D visualization system based on OpenGL. It provides a medium to high level interface for use in R, currently modelled on classic R graphics, with extensions to allow for interaction.
