I would like to identify the optimal values of a continuous variable based on the hazard ratio using ctree as shown in the diagram. In the diagram shows hazard ratio of overall mortality according to time to treatment initiation. Hazard is at its lowest at 46 days and returns to baseline hazard at 73 days. It is from the following article. In addition, I would like to know how to repeat the above in, say, 100 times with random selection of 50% of the cohorts. Kompelli AR, LI H, Neskey DM.
