RE: Generality of the package [ Reply ] By: Tarik Gouhier on 2015-02-06 05:33 | [forum:41875] |
Hi Daniel, There's no reason that the methods included in the synchrony and biwavelet packages could not be used for non-ecological datasets, even if the functions have "abundance" arguments. By the way, it's easier to reach me via email or via the GitHub pages for the packages than Rforge. Take care, Tarik. |
Generality of the package [ Reply ] By: Daniel Damineli on 2015-02-05 22:12 | [forum:41874] |
Greetings Tarik! I've been using the 'synchrony' package as well as the 'biwavelet' package to analyze time-series of non-ecological data. So far it has been working great (thanks!) but I would like to know if I should be aware of any issues due to using data of a different nature (non-abundance) - except in the functions where abundance is explicitly mentioned to be required in the input. Thank you once again for this great set of packages, Sincerely Daniel Damineli |
