Hello everyone, No concerns have been raised within the past two weeks. To ensure there is sufficient time for feedback, we will wait for an additional two weeks, and if there are no objections or concerns by the end of this extended timeframe, we will proceed with the "Apache XTable" project's name. Hello R's XTable Community, I'm reaching out on behalf of the team behind the XTable project, which we plan to donate to the Apache Software Foundation (ASF) [1]. The ASF follows a meticulous process for approving project names. During that process, they have raised concerns about the existence of the XTable project in the R community, potentially causing name conflicts. We would like to preserve the name since we believe the risk of confusion between project's is minimal due to their different purpose [1], our project being entirely in Java (and R bindings not really anticipated), etc. However, before finalizing our project's name as "Apache XTable," we wanted to inquire if your community has any objections or concerns.
