Summary:
RStudio's html viewer after knitr does not seem to work properly for layout3d commands

Detailed description
If I knit a markup document like the below with a rgl plot array using layout3d, while the html file looks fine in a web browser it seems to only show the last plot in the array in RStudios internal html browser which is fired after a document is "knitted". e.g. in the below e.g. the word tetrahedron3d is not displayed. Not a huge issue if you know about it, but it took me a while to discover the problem was with the default viewer ;-) and not the knit process!

title: "3d shape example from the web"
output: html_document
---

```{r testshape}
library(rgl)
cols <- rainbow(7)
layout3d(matrix(1:2, 1,2), heights=c(1,3))
text3d(0,0,0,"tetrahedron3d"); next3d()
shade3d(tetrahedron3d(col=cols[1]))
rglwidget()
```
