multiPhylo4 not functional

Detailed description
There are no methods associated with multiPhylo4 class which makes it not possible to use. Should we keep it in the upcoming release? > foo <- new("multiPhylo4") > foo An object of class “multiPhylo4” Slot "phylolist": list() Slot "tree.names": character(0) > foo[[1]] <- geospiza Error in `[[<-`(`tmp`, 1, value = <S4 object of class "phylo4d">) : no method for assigning subsets of this S4 class

Date: 2009-09-29 23:45 Sender: Peter Cowan I've addressed temporarily w/ r683 will leave the files in place and move this to a feature request.
Date: 2009-09-08 15:57 Sender: Peter Cowan maybe the constructor could stop w/ a not implemented error. I'd say leave it there, since it's definitely planned. If were lucky, someone will see it and decide they want the feature enough to code it!
