Summary:
export.merlin not identical with old/new parameter

Detailed description
Originally the problem was reported at http://forum.genabel.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=743

The following test shows that using option dpieceFun= old/new produces different resuts: in R, run

library(GenABEL)
data(srdta)
export.merlin(srdta[,1:2],dpieceFun="new")
export.merlin(srdta[,1:2],dpieceFun="old",mapfile="me.map",pedfile="me.ped",datafile="me.dat")

then

diff merlin.ped me.ped

shows problems with sex coding (and this starts from 100+ id!)
