Summary:
car package not building because rio package missing from Windows. |
Detailed description |
Hi,
The car package is failing to build on R-Forge because the rio package is missing from Windows. I see that Windows binaries *are* available from CRAN. R-Forge doesn't have any trouble building and checking car on Linux.
Here's what I see:
---------- snip ----------
Thu Jan 25 17:28:02 2018: Building binary for package car (SVN revision 499)
using R version 3.4.3 Patched (2018-01-23 r74154) ...
* installing to library 'R:/lib/local/3.4'
ERROR: dependency 'rio' is not available for package 'car'
* removing 'R:/lib/local/3.4/car'
In R CMD INSTALL
Run time: 1.69 seconds.
---------- snip ----------
Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
Thanks,
John
