Summary:
Could you put a recent version of Python on the Windows test machine? |
Detailed description |
Hi,
I have a package [argparse] with an explicit dependency on Python [i.e. in the DESCRIPTION file I have SystemRequirement: python (>= 2.7) ]. On R-forge my package seems to checks fine on Linux-patched but chokes on Windows-patched since it seems that that test machine does not have Python installed. I was wondering if you could install a recent version of python onto the Windows test machine so my package can pass the check and build successfully and so I could submit it to CRAN and also let users download and install it from R-forge.
Thanks,
Trevor |
