1. depmixS4 - hidden Markov model classes - depmixS4 fits hidden Markov models on multi-var time series, subject to constraints on the parameters. It reimplements functionality from depmix (only minimally maintained). Response distributions are from glm and others; transitions are time-dependent.
2. SpatialExtremes - The SpatialExtremes package aims to develop tools for the modeling of spatial extremes. The knowledge of the univariate/multivariate distribution of extremes is not enough. This package will try to fill this gap.
