RE: Non Linear Analysis by episode? [ Reply ]

Dear Scott Maw,

Currently, there is no function for performing nonlinear analysis by episodes. Most of the nonlinear analysis functions try to characterize the dynamics of the system, and thus "cut and paste" different segments of the signal is not a good idea.

However, you can install the Beta version of the package (install.packages("RHRV", repos="http://R-Forge.R-project.org") and use the Window function for extracting smaller series from the original one. Then you can compute your analysis as usual.

We hope it helps
Kind regards!

Is it possible to conduct a non linear analysis by episode? Specifically I am looking at getting SD1 and SD2 for only a certain portion of a file.
Thanks in advance
