I opened a elease branch (1.11-0) for the next release version of vegan at CRAN. The old devel branch was relabelled as 1.12-0, and it is open for new features that are not intended for the release. The purpose is to check the release branch for some days, and make the necessary changes, and then have a release at CRAN at earliest some day next week (after Monday 18 Feb, 2008). If you have an opportunity to test the release candidate or latest devel versions, please report all problems to the developers so that we can fix them before the release.
